Much tastier than your average "energy drink"!

There's a few different things in the sampler, almost all of which are far better than any other "energy drink" I've ever tried! There's two brands of "energy gel", which had very thick consistency, perhaps a little more liquid toothpaste. Each flavor lived up to its claim in terms of taste, and the flavors with caffeine or 2x caffeine did have a good kick to them and kept me going for a bit. The non caffeinated gels didn't seem to keep me going as long, but that's to be expected, and they still tasted great. There are also some drink powders and tablets that turn tap water into a Gatorade/Powerade type drink that has a very small touch of fizzyness to it. If you're going to mix these into a water bottle, make sure you leave the lid off for a few minutes, other wise pressure builds up inside. Finally there's something called "Chomps" which have a really strange consistency and texture to them. I'd say it's something between a *really* firm gelatin and those "fruit snacks" that are something like a soft wax. If you can get past the strange texture, they're not that bad at all, and almost all the flavors are packed with a wallop of caffeine that kept me going. All in all I'm really glad I tried out my options before committing to a case of any one flavor or product, since they're priced right around other energy drinks in the 1.50-2.50 each range. I highly recommend this over something like Red Bull or Monster Energy drinks!

Great sampler! Great benefits from the gel!

I bought this sampler for my marathon trainning & race dayit worked wonderfully, energy gels are a MUST if you plan running for more than 90minthey are easy to transport, great taste and they supply with much needed carbs in the long runsalso the recovery brew is great ..the sampler makes its point and lets you try all the products from GU

Easy and fast

Great product, I was competing in a 206 mile bike race and it was what I needed. Everything GU makes is easy to eat while racing, the stuff goes down so easy and gives you tons of worthwhile calories.
