Great shakes

If you are looking at the particular nutrition profile of a Muscle Milk protein shake, then I'd say this is the brand to buy. Great taste, warm or cold, and supplies a decent amount of protein for a pre-workout shake. You may want a casein/whey blend for post-workout. At .75 dollars per shake, this is a decent deal. Any more and you should just blend your own from MM powder.

NOT Ready-To-Drink

Let me start by saying that Muscle Milk is a fantastic supplement and I highly endorse it. But this gets one-star from me because it is sold as a Ready-To-Drink product which has not consistently met that claim. I have ordered several cases via the subscribe and save from Amazon. Each and every box had more than half of the tops off or damaged beyond use. The last box that arrived only had TWO drinks with the tops in tact. The tops serve two purposes: They allow for easy opening and obviously make for easy drinking. Without the tops you have to puncture the opening as well as an additional hole in the back to get the drink out. This is messy and a down-right disappointment.

Best tasting protein shake out there

My wife and I both love this stuff. Not only is it great for replenishing your body after a nice work out, it tastes great! I've tried quite a few other protein shakes, and the only on that comes close in flavor is Gatorade's version. However, Muscle Milk packs in more nutrition in smaller package, as well as having the edge on flavor. My wife who LOVES chocolate milk thinks these are delicious. They've helped me in my muscle building goals, and they've helped her in getting her needed protein intake for a day since she is a vegetarian and sometimes finds it hard to get the right amount of protein.If you're looking for a very portable, high protein, high nutrition shake that tastes fantastic, Chocolate Muscle Milk cannot be beat. Also worth noting is that you can pick these up at your local warehouse store for significantly less than having them shipped to you, so if that is an option, go for it.
