Excellent Value and Results

I have a lot of fitness experience and am also a hard gainer. This product is my favorite gainer, bar none. Serious Mass has a 12lb bag that's a better price per pound, and I've personally tried it, but IDS is superior in terms of taste and ingredient quality.Taste: Excellent. I like the chocolate caramel the best, but the vanilla is great, too. It's good enough that just using water is fine but I highly recommend using almond milk or whole milk. Water does make for a fast, easy to drink shake, though.Mixability: It mixes well in a blender, less so in a shaker-cup. Doesn't mix that well with just a spoon. I don't mind clumps too much, I just chew 'em like food.Quality: This has all the primary and secondary nutrients needed and a relatively clean caloric profile.Calorie Content: One serving is 620 calories. You can easily hit 1,240 calories by using my custom recipe:Ingredient - (Calories)2 Scoops of IDS Chocolate Caramel - (620)12 Oz of Whole Milk or Almond Milk - (220)2 Tablespoons of Honey - (120)2 Tablespoon of Peanut Butter - (190)1 Banana - (100)Optional: 1 Tablespoon of Cookie Butter - (90) (Buy at Trader Joe's)Blend all ingredients on High for 60 seconds and enjoy. Shake is thick and creamy, yet very tasty and filling. It's so good that I look forward to it after a tough workout. Total caloric content is 1,240 calories - that's how hard gainers gain!Overall, an excellent product. It has helped me meet my fitness goals and gain pounds of muscle mass. Typically, I have found that if I do my part and hit the gym hard and regularly and also have a high protein/calorie diet, I can gain 2 solid pounds of muscle per month. Keep in mind, this product is not a meal substitute, it is in addition to a healthy diet. Continue to eat lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables along with plenty of quality carbs. I use IDS immediately after a workout or in between meals and sometimes right before bed, depending on how sore I am.May you get huge, my fellow hard-gainers!

This stuff tastes great and works. I definitely would recommend this for someone trying to gain weight and/or muscle mass.

Nice for the price I paid and because it's what I was looking for.

Although there are discrepancies between the product 'as advertised' & what I actually received (according to the label; PLEASE SEE my uploaded customer photos), the product was similar enough that I am not going to complain.What I wanted: (1) Whey protein, (2) Low fat to High protein ratio, (3) Low[er] calories, (4) Any extras, e.g. Creatine, Aminos, Great taste, & Mixes well in a shaker.This meets it all!It does contain Maltodextrin, which I've [only] read negative feedback on. Till I experience any side effects myself, my 4 star rating stands ONLY because it was not the product advertised or pictured (which may simply be outdated, e.g. SEE customer photo on IDS' name change).Of course I'm not a bodybuilder that's going to drink this stuff all day long. I train at a boxing gym and will be trying 1/2 a serving as meal replacement in my own weight-loss program; and 'maybe' another 1/2 as a post-workout recovery drink ;D because it tastes pretty darn good.FYI: This bucket contains 28 servings.
