Product Description

DIM - Diindolylmethane (DIM) is formed by acid catalyzed dimerization of indole-3-carbinol. DIM is an indole plant nutrient found in cruciferous vegetables including broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts and cauliflower. Unlike other plant nutrients, such as soy isoflavones, DIM has unique and distinct hormonal benefits.DIM appears to support the activity of specific enzymes that improve estrogen metabolism in both men and women. Scientific research shows that DIM increases the level of “good” estrogens (2-hydroxyestrogen) while reducing the level of “bad” estrogens (16-hydroxyestrogen). Underproduction of 2-hydroxyestrogen in women has been linked to PMS, mid-life obesity, painful menstruation, recurrent breast pain, cervical dysplasia, fibroid tumors, as well as rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. In men, obesity and chronic inflammation have been linked to underproduction of 2-hydroxyestrogen.;DIM stimulates more efficient estrogen metabolism. Supplementing the diet with DIM and eating cruciferous vegetables increase the specific aerobic metabolism for estrogen, multiplying the chance for estrogen to be broken down into its beneficial, or “good” estrogen metabolites. By promoting a healthy estrogen metabolism, DIM adjusts the balance of estradiol to its “good” metabolites. This may also result in a more desirable action from testosterone. Testosterone supports energy and mood and helps sustain interest in sex in both men and women. When supplemental DIM is taken along with a program of regular exercise, it may help estrogen and testosterone contribute to good physical conditioning.

I'm using this product to help decrease my body % fat and increase my metabolism. I combine this with L-Carnitine and have been using the two for the past 2 weeks! MAJOR difference. I am now down to 14% body fat and I lost 2 inches in my weight. (note I DO eat a very clean diet as well as strength/cardio 5 days a week 1.5 hours) As a woman it's MUCH harder to lose the body fat, but this has REALLY helped me by combining the two.I can't make a review JUST based on the 1 product since I have been combining the 2.

This is a wonderful product. I started using it because my estrogen was out of control. It took care of the mastodynia, bloating, and cramping within two weeks. Best of all, it`s one of the few out there that is completely soy free.For those who are interested in weightloss: I have lost seven pounds within five months, which is why I now had to cut the dose in half. I started out at 130, and did not intend to lose weight at all. I do only a very light workout using a mini trampolin (Cellerciser)for 15 min five days a week. I do limit my intake of sugars and starches though. No potatoes, flour, rice, and sugar, due to systemic yeast problems after long-term antibiotics. All my carbs I get from veggies.

one of the best natural PCTs out there

From a guys perspective it is not great as a weightlifting supplement alone. It is definitely the best natural PCT I have ever taken and has zero side effects. Allows you to keep gains after bulking. And reduces acne during bulking. I personally respond so well to this stuff that I take it nonstop, and have been for over 2 years. Also if you're going to give it a go, Olympian labs makes the best product. Ive tried others and paid more and gotten less results.Good stuff
