Great Pre-Recovery Drink!

This recovery accelerator does exactly what it is supposed to do, help you recover faster. What you also need to know is that you will need to drink your protein supplement after you take this recovery drink. It only has about 4g of protein per serving and it is meant to create a carb:protein ratio optimal for fast absorption. While it mixes easy and tastes great with water, there is some heavy sedimentation and you will constantly need to stir if you plan on setting your cup down for a minute. It is a little pricy but well worth it!

Great for post run recovery

I'm a huge fan of the Vega line of products. Brendan Brazier has done a great job with Sequel Naturals developing the new Vega Sport line of products which are all plant based. As a runner, this recovery accelerator really makes a difference in my recovery after a run. The taste is great and it's so easy to drink after a run. I use this product after all my runs to make sure that I am helping my body and my muscles recover appropriately so I can continue with my training program.

Can NOT live without this!

Trust me when I say that life was seriously miserable before I discovered this recovery drink. I have a very sensitive stomach so I can never take protein shakes, no matter what kind. Vegan, vegetarian, whey, blah blah blah, you mention it, I've already tried it. I must have tried over 50 brands of protein drinks but every single one of them are disgusting to drink and are awful on my stomach. When I came across this, I was hesitant but tried it anyway.I train very hard (Ballet) and my diet is vegetarian. Before this drink I'd sometimes be miserable with pain and aches for days because I couldn't get enough protein in my diet to supplement my grueling work out. The inflammation and subsequent side effects would keep me from training as I'd liked or sometimes it would keep me from doing anything at all to avoid injury. It STUNK to watch everyone else recover much faster than I did (because they were getting adequate protein.)This stuff is my life saver! I drink this as directed, immediately after my work out everyday. It made a huge difference in how quickly I recover and develop better muscle tone. In the first few weeks, I forgot that I was taking this regularly and wondered why I was so pain free and had so much more energy to dance. But then I remembered (duh!) that I was taking this stuff and was amazed at the results. I highly recommend this even if you can drink protein drinks. If you train hard like I do, try adding this to your protein shake right after work out. It tastes great and works effectively. Good luck!
