Sounds good, terrible product.

The idea of "Big Grip No-Slip" straps sounds good but it's a terrible idea. In order to get maximum use out of lifting straps they must be twisted on the bar/dumbbell with the hand doing the lifting, the rubber strips that face the bar prevent from doing that. With five years of lifting, three years of training four times per week, I know a good strap from a bad one, this is a BAD one. Highly suggest against purchasing.

Good...with a few tweaks

Harbinger makes a good effort with these lifting straps but I cant give it 5 stars for 1 reason. the rubber is on the wrong side.otherwise very sturdy, but in the out-of-box design,while trying to roll these onto the bar is near impossible.what I did was to un-stitch the padding and put it over the harbinger logo, so that the bar will touch the cloth side, while my hand touches the rubber part.no slips here and I do pull pretty heavy on lat pull downs.

Not what they could have been

I bought this with the thought that the grip on the inside would make these great.The problem is that the grip on the inside does work, but the material is very slippery on the outside and doesn't seem to break in at all. So it holds the bar well, but I cannot hold the straps well on the outside.If the straps were not slippery on the outside, they would be quite nice, actually, as they really do a solid job gripping the bar.
