Tastes Good, does the job~!

I normally suffer from High Blood Pressure but it is well controlled with medicine. I had been removed from a stressful situation for a few months and noticed my BP readings to be much lower than usual during Dr visits. Eventually, the Dr. reduced my meds a little and asked me to monitor it more often. Even after lowering the medication, the BP was low and I planned to discuss with her during my next visit. However, the following day, I didn't feel quite right, lightheaded, tired. I checked my BP and it was 83/53. I checked it every so often and it remained consistently very low. I was concerned but it was a Sunday and didn't want to bother the Dr over the weekend. I mentioned it on Facebook and a nutritionist friend of mine thought I might be dehydrated and told me to get some sports drinks to replenish my electrolytes. I remembered getting some at Whole Foods for my Granddaughter for after her Color Guard performances when she would get weak from the activity. The Rep there suggested Ultima over the other brands they carried. She said it was natural, tasted good and not full of sugars etc that you would find in regular sports drinks like Gatorade. I bought her a few individual packets to see if they helped. I thought of Ultima right away and sent my Husband to Whole Foods for a few packets.I drank this stuff, about 24 ounces (2 servings) and honestly within 15 min I no longer felt the lightheadedness. I rechecked my BP shortly after and it was 117/75. An hour or so later, my bp came down again to 98/64 so I drank another serving. My next reading was 111/72 and seemed to stabilize the readings where I was comfortable with them. I called the Dr on Monday and she further reduced my meds, however I ordered a tub of the grape flavor from Amazon to drink going forward. My Husband got the individual servings of Grape, Orange and Lemonade. They all tasted good, grape was just my favorite but I would buy any of them again.I am diabetic so I LOVED the fact these are not sugar laden like most sports drinks. I prefer drinks without strong flavors so I make these a little on the weak side. I am in my 50's, overweight but working on it. I am no athlete by any stretch of the word, but try to exercise. I usually only drink water or iced tea (and a cup or two of morning coffee) but I will be adding some Ultima in daily now too. Obviously I was missing something that Ultima replenishes.

Super Product...the Best for Bikram Yoga

I use this for Bikram Yoga. After months of leg cramps, an instructor turned me onto this product. Problem solved. I always bring two 16.9 bottles into the hot room with 1 being frozen (each bottle 2 scoops of Ultima in it). By the end of class the ice has mostly melted and it is ice cold. Red Raspberry tastes the best i think but Grape is pretty good as well.

Best Drink Ever

After 10+ years on Amazon, this is my first review ever. I love this product SO much. Forget all of those $3 synthetic electrolyte drinks filled with corn syrup and sugar and salt. This is low sodium, delicious grape flavor. I live in the desert and drink this all the time to keep feeling great. Thank you so much!
