Excellent, high quality natural protein

I've had other "Natural" whey proteins that tasted horrific. This blend, only sweetened with stevia, tastes absolutely fantastic. In addition to that, it mixes extremely well with only a spoon. I use a "True Athlete" shaker cup that I got free with purchase from the Vitamin Shoppe, but it mixes just fine with only a spoon as well.This formula is a little pricey, but you do get what you pay for. The $22 jugs of Optimum Whey (with loads of artificial crap in it) will end up costing you in the long run.Lastly, my only beef with this formula is that it mixes up a little thick. It has 3 separate thickeners in it: inulin, cellulose gum, xanthan gum. I prefer my whey protein to be pretty watery, so it's not filling and it digests instantly. This is a thicker formula, which isn't necessarily bad, I'd just rather it be a bit more thin. Normal whey protein you need about 4 oz of water per scoop, you need 8-10 oz of water per serving. I don't see the point of making it so thick, so I removed a star from the rating because of that.Word to the wise, you're better off purchasing this in The Vitamin Shoppe store rather than online. The price is actually higher online, when you factor in shipping.

Awesome when on sale!

This protein powder is perfect for me, it's simple, contains no artificial flavors or sweetners, and tastes GREAT. I purchased this product at The Vitamin Shoppe a few weeks ago when it was on sale for 29.99. I really wish I would've bought more at that deal, and have been checking Amazon literally every day hoping to see that same deal. The 39.99 price is too high to justify, and the current 34.99 price is tempting me. All I can say is that I am hoping for the 29.99 deal again so I can stock up!!
