Bull Noxious Chewies

The first thing I'll say is that "chewy" does not accurately describe the consistency of this product, though I suppose "Bull Nox Chalkie-Crumblies" didn't quite have the same ring from a marketing perspective. When I first started taking these I wondered if it wouldn't be more enjoyable to simply wrestle a scoop of powder into my mouth. The tablets are so dry and dense that they produce a fingernails-on-the-chalkboard sensation on my teeth; unpleasant, IMO, especially first thing in the morning. I've taken to sucking on them for a while to soften them up, and I'm always sure to have plenty of waster to help get them down.The taste, though not great, is not bad at all. I wish there was another flavor-- kiwi strawberry isn't my favorite. I have some sinus issues so my sense of taste is not very sensitive, but aside from being a little sour, there is nothing "bad" about the flavor.So why four stars? For one, i have grown to deeply appreciate the convenience of the tablets. You can take them anywhere, just pop them in your pocket on your way out the door and consume when needed without any fuss. I can take them in my hydrationbelt on a long run, or keep a dose on my nightstand to help get me out ofbed in the morning. Additionally, you know exactly your dose each time. As with most pre-workouts I typically want more than one dose but less than two. With the "chewies" I can take one or two extra without eyeballing a partial scoop. As a habit I take six tabs (serving size is 5), so I know what I'm getting each time.Finally, the reason we shop this product inthe first place, the Androrush formula is my favorite preworkout on the market today, and I've tried many over the past seven or eight years: Superpump, NO Shotgun, Jack3d, Assault, BlackPowder, SP Max, Armageddon, Monster Pump, neurocore, just off the top of my head. bull nox is my favorite since Superpump250, without the, ahem, unpleasant side-effects. One reason is because, as a fitness junkie, I find this to be the most versatile product I've taken. Whether I'm lifting weights or running distance, I feel a sustained and substantive performance boost. I don't crash after an hour like I do with some of the more stimulant-heavy PWOs, though honestly I could take a little greater of a stimulant kick.To summarize, I think Bettencourt could do some work on the mouthfeel of the Bullnox "chewies", but i like the format and love formula.

Great product but overpriced

Betancourt Big blend is a great product. It taste great, mixes well, and has all your macros. Would give this product 5stars if it wasnt for the price. I was able to get the 60serving container for the same price on other sites.

My new favorite...

Stay with me here..i have a decent shaker with a drop in perforated top to shake..works well. ive been drinking this protein for like 2 weeks loving the taste. so i just throw it in always and shake done and done. today the top broke in my shaker top while trying to pull it out to mix another scoop in so i just put the scoop onto the perforated shaker top and poured soy milk over it and it instantly mixed into the milk and ran thru the shaker. i was very impressed to say the least. i usually drink myofusion because of taste and mixability and i rank this side by side with it. when it comes to ingredients i think the one takes the edge it packs alot in one scoop for 120 calories vs myofusions 147 calories and i switched from syntha-6 to myofusion previously..so this ones legit in my opinion. also im a big guy not in super shape i like dr pepper and bad foods so its got to taste damn good because i start my days with a protein shake. id order the 4.25lbs it has 60 servings for 40-50 bucks. i dont think any protein out there packs a better price servings taste mixability package..good luck to you.
