Great value

What differentiates this fiber supplement from others is that is combines five different fiber sources and has only 10 calories per serving while providing 5 grams of fiber. That's awesome for someone on a reduced calorie diet. The product does contain psyllium husk which may interfere with the absorption of certain medications. It also requires you to drink plenty of fluids (at least 8 oz of water) or it will cause constipation.One serving is a heaping teaspoon. I prefer sprinkling it into my oatmeal rather than mixing it with liquid as I do find it clumps just a tad. The flavor is neutral.All in all a great value and will buy again.

Are they serious with this formulation? The only "real" fiber source in this blend is psyllium husk. All of the other types of fiber are what I call "phony" fiber. First of all, Maltodextrin isn't a fiber. Anyone who knows even a little bit about nutrition knows that. Polydextrose is labeled as a fiber by the FDA, but it's not fiber either. It's a synthetic polymer of glucose, that provides none of the benefits fiber has. Gum Arabic is a thickener! That's not a fiber either. The last fiber source in this formula is inulin, which again, I don't consider a real fiber source. Inulin is a fructan, which is more of a prebiotic than a fiber. It can have potential benefits to your gut, but it doesn't digest, nor act like a true fiber in your system.This is an awfully constructed formulation, which uses the bottom of the barrel when it comes to fiber supplementation. I can't believe Optimum Nutrition would put their name on such a joke of a formula.**2 of 8 helpful votes? Did the owners of Optimum Nutrition come on here and vote thumbs down? If so, change your formulation, gentleman!! This one is a joke! You put cheap, bottom of the barrel "fiber" sources in here, so you can have a terrific profit margin. But as for the benefits? convenient and effective

On my fourth tub. No taste, excellent mixability. At first I would use alone, now I just empty the whole thing into my protein jug and roll to mix in. Same amount of fiber as VPX's FiberTeq, for cheaper. Also, nowhere on this label does it say not to take with vitamins or minerals, unlike VPX's which specifically states not to. Another great advantage, this has 10 calories while FiberTeq has something like 90. Great buy.
