cheap waxy maize better

this stuff isn't bad, just too expensive compared to plane jane WMS, which should give you 90% of the benefits for 50% of the cost.Pro - MUCH less messy than WMS. Very nice mouthfeel. This actually enhances the taste of my post workout shake (which is the ONLY time I take) Enhances recovery (but no better than WMS) Mixes well - maybe a little better than WMSCons - Way too expensive compared to an equivalent amount of WMS maybe its just me, but gastric emptying seems delayed when using this compared to WMS. Feels heavier in my gut compared to WMS.I dont regret trying Vitargo, just don't feel compelled to switch from the cheaper and IMO just as effective WMS.

Great source of carbs!

I use this in my after workout protein shake to add some fast absorbed carbs to it. I also mix it in my flavored drinks for long bike rides to keep fueled up. Untill i find something similar im going to keep using this till Ironman CDA, its to damn expensive though.

Great carb source for ultras

I use this as my only fuel for lung runs now. I've done 50 mile runs using just vitargo and not had any issues. I basically put two scoops in a 20oz bottle and drink to need with that bottle. I typically switch bottles every hour. This gets me 280 cals per hour if I drink the whole bottle. I haven't had any stomach issues and so on with the fuel on runs up to ten hours. This has replaced gels for me on long runs
