Gluten free, tastes great

I am on my third tub of Giant Delicious Vanilla Protein Powder and I must say that it is as good as advertised. I sought out a gluten free protein powder for allergy reasons and this product was a complete shot in the dark. I relied on reviews from other websites (since there were no reviews on Amazon at the time) and crossed my fingers that Giant was going to be what I needed. It was. I train for Spartan Races and find that a scoop or two of Delicious Protein Powder in my pre and post-workout shake keeps me energized and feeds my muscles when they need it most.TASTE: Smooth, milkshake-like vanilla flavor. Very pleasant and goes well when mixed with flavored yogurts, agave nectar, chocolate syrup or pretty much anything else.MIXING: Does not clump up like some cheaper powders. I shake it up in a Blender Bottle for 10-20 seconds and it's good to go.QUALITY: High protein content and low carb and sugar. Great shake for pre and post-workout.OVERALL: I am more than satisfied with Giant Delicious Protein Powder. Many gluten free products are also taste-free but not Delicious. This is a product that truly lives up to its name.Here's my workout shake recipe:Using Blender Bottle, add the following in this order:3/4 cup of water1 6 oz container of greek yogurt (choice of flavor)1-2 scoops of Delicious Protein Powder (vanilla)2 tbs chia seedsFill rest of container with milk or water depending on desired thickness (milk will make this a rather thick milkshake, water will keep it thinner). Shake for 15-20 seconds and enjoy! For added nutrition add 1-2 tsp of wheatgrass powder but be warned, wheat grass is not the best tasting thing in the world (think about grass flavored chalk) and it kills the wonderful taste of the shake recipe provided above.

This protein shake is a godsend!

I figure I should review the 2lb. package as well since I reviewed the 5lb. package.My wife and I always struggled to find a protein drink we could keep down. After my wife had gastric bypass surgery, she had to force herself to drink at least 64 oz. of liquid protein for several months but she was never able to. She tried everything that was available on the market and the experience made her incapable of even smelling any protein drink. I had a difficult time as well, but I managed a lot better; it was still a struggle to find anything I could drink regularly.In the never ending search for a protein drink that wouldn't make my stomach churn, a friend recommended Giant Sports Delicious Protein and sent us a sample. I knew I had to try this stuff as soon as I opened the package. While every other protein had that typical thick smell protein powders have, Giant Sports' protein powder smelled as sweet as the chocolate shake powder my mom used to make me chocolate milk when I was a kid. It took a while to coax my wife to get near the stuff, but I promised her presents if she'd give it a try. She still can't get over the fact this is actually a protein powder and it's absolutely delicious.So far, it looks like this is going to be a game changer for me. I struggled managing my weight and physique because I couldn't handle a consistent, healthy protein intake. Since we got that sample and it began appearing in stores, I've been able to drink two servings a day and have been losing weight while keeping my muscle mass - and I don't feel a pang of dread whenever I put my lips to my protein drink.I've never recommended a protein powder to anyone before because I'm not that cruel. I'm making an exception with GS Delicious Protein, though. This isn't just great, delicious protein, this is a godsend.

Would buy again

This is one of the best tasting protein. It also has great specs! 27grams of protein and 130 calories per serving, low in carbs and fat. Great value for your money.It's not meant to be a meal replacement that is trendy with other protein mixes. However, the protein component will hold you over until your next meal. If you want "get ripped" to show off, this is not the protein for you. If you want to build lean muscle, give this a go!
