We've taken many brands of fish oils and this is by far the best. Our recent blood work has really given us something to cheer about. My 77-yr-old diabetic father's triglycerides plummeted from the 200s down to the 80s. His total cholesterol went from the 220s into the 180s over the past 6 months with the addition of this fish oil. His hs-CRP, homocysteine, and fibrinogen have all improved markedly. I don't think that he's ever seen numbers this good. Four years ago when I was a dough-boy at 200 lbs, my triglycerides_to_HDL ratio was a heart-stopping 12. Now that I've cleaned up my diet, lost the excess weight, and added this fish oil to my daily supplements, my HDL (60) has overtaken my triglycerides (52)! Everybody is a little different, so please work with your doctor and nutritionist to come up with a workable strategy for you. Good luck!

Yes this is more expensive than some fish oils but it is rated 5 stars on the ifos system. If your interested look up international fish oil standards. I highly recommend it!
