Excellent 100% Plant-Based Protein!

I'm a vegan and have recently re-taken up bodybuilding with a trainer.I *refuse* to put anything dairy into my body (casein causes cancer...look it up!).Plant-based protein is much more easily digested and assimilated by the body, and it doesn't cause acidity levels to rise.This stuff is a lot less expensive than hemp protein and is loaded with a very good array of BCAA's.If you're bodybuilding, you still might want to add a BCAA supplement, but you may not need as much.As a vegan who does a lot of raw, organic greens I recover fairly quick (FYI: spinach has more protein than red meat), but the added BCAA's do seem to help.You just gotta assess your needs.The ingredient breakdown is:- Pea Protein Isolate- Artichoke Protein- Organic Amaranth Powder- Organic Sprouted Quinoa PowderThe BCAA's: L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine, L-ValineAlso has L-GlutamineIt claims to be non-GMO and free of dairy, soy, animal ingredients & gluten.It's sweetened with fructose & stevia.Personally, the fructose isn't my first choice (kinda hard on the liver), but it's only about 4g of sugar per scoop, so it's not too bad (and it's cheaper than adding, say, xylitol, to keep the cost down).I originally bought it at a local health food store, looking to try something different from the hemp. The chocolate was all they had and I was a little skeptical...personally, I think most chocolate protein powders taste kinda funny.This stuff is quite tasty, even with just straight water, though it's even better & creamier in almond milk.So far I'm pretty happy with this product. The quality seems to be there and the price is right, too.This is good stuff. I highly recommend it, even if you're not a vegan.

The best protein powder I know

I've used a variety of protein over the years, from whey and casein to soy and various plant-based proteins. This is by far my favorite. The taste and consistency is awesome, and the results are just as good as whey/casein. As far as plant-based proteins for the vegan folks, I think this is the best choice there is. The amount of carbs and fats is negligible, unlike a lot of plant-based protein products out there. But I must admit that my favorite part is the taste. It's not overly sweet, and on the thicker side, so it's perfect for various protein concoctions. I'm not a fan of plain boring protein shakes, so I make all kinds of high-protein snacks instead. This powder works amazingly well. For those who don't mind animal protein, try using 1/3 ON Casein(chocolate or chocolate peanut butter) and 2/3 Nitrofusion chocolate. The taste is absolutely amazing.

Excellent vegetarian protein

I've tried numerous plant based protein supplements, and this is certainly one of my favorites. My favorite being Sunwarrior, this product stacks up nicely with it because it's cheaper, yet the quality is very close. This protein, unlike many others is very fine and blends very well in water or any other liquid. It has a light taste similar to that of Sunwarrior's protein blend, which is FAR better than hemp, rice or pea protein alone. Though they are great sources of plant based protein, the taste is definitely hard to get past. This product contains very little sugar (derived from fructose) and should fit nicely into any sort of diet you may be following. No artificial ingredients what so ever. It's also multi-sourced, containing an impressive amino acid profile, whereas single-source plant proteins tend to really lack one or more EAAs. A lot of people tend to use whey because of the supposed high bio-availability, but this product is the same if not better.My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because the seller did NOT get it to me in the amount of time they were supposed to. I used two day shipping with this product, and it took about a week to arrive. If I'm able to get it from a different supplier then I'll definitely buy it again.
