Great product, rough price

I think this product is great, it has both fast, medium and slowly digesting proteins in it. The medium digesting protein is soy, and many people choose to stay away from it because of it's estrogenic effects, however many studies now show that soy is perfectly fine to use, and actually has many many good health benefits (lower cholesterol, higher levels of arginine, etc). You should do your research before you choose to take a product that includes soy, I will say that my conclusion is that it is just fine.The actual performance gains coming from this were actually quite good, I definitely had some good performance improvements at the gym when using this product.The taste of this protein was actually pretty good for me, I actually liked the taste of this protein more than Optimum Nutrition 100% whey.Now the downside: WAY too expensive. By these prices right now, this is actually as much as 30-40% more expensive than Optimum Nutrition. This is the reason why I stay away from it, it may be a good product, but it's pricing doesn't make it competitive with 100% whey product.

I've tried quite a few different "muscle" supplements, including popular ones such as BSN Syntha-6, Muscle Milk, Cytogainer (awful), whey (Designer Whey, GNC, Precision Engineered, EAS, Twin Labs, a few others...), and a whole bunch of other stuff. Well, now I know better - I've found that whey + slow release protein is the way to go.I might sound like an obsessive bodybuilder (I'm not - not that there's anything wrong with that), but as a naturally thin person who starts losing muscle mass at the slightest bits of inactivity, I find that maintaining lean muscle is oftentimes half the battle - something that I think is a problem for thin people in general.Probolic is sort of a cure-all for muscle loss. Not only does it have a chock full of fast and slow release proteins, but lots of other stuff that's great for you, including Omega 3's, CLA (which shows fat burn over time), MCTs, glutamine (I'm probably missing some)... and of course, many critical amino acids, all of which digest very well, so no bloating (unlike some other supplements). No real need to hit the other muscle supplements with this thing - one scoop per serving does it for me, but if you need it, two scoops at a time will go a long way. I've been using this for a few months, and the difference is amazing.I take a serving in the morning when I get up, Optimum Nutrition whey after workouts, and one more serving of Probolic at night. As I stated - if one scoop isn't enough, use two.The only downside is, in comparison to Syntha-6, Muscle Milk, and ON Whey, this stuff could definitely taste much better. The mixture is on the thick side (chalky, almost), which makes it worse. I recommend mixing it up with half water, half skim milk to thin it out while keeping calories in check and improving the taste. Considering how well Probolic works, though, I think it's worth it. Just... stay away from the "cookies n' creme" flavor. Stick with vanilla.If you can get over the taste - I highly recommend it.

The best protein taste and consistence I ever tried

Its benefits were already described in full by previous reviewers.I only want to add that the taste and consistence of this protein is great.I mix 1.5 scoops with 3 Oz of plain yogurt which makes it not just a liquid as many other brands, but like creamy cheese, so I can eat it with a spoon.The taste is almost neutral. It's not sickly sweet as most whey proteins.If I take it even on empty stomach, I feel myself satiated for 2-3 hours. With regular whey or even other matrix proteins i feel hunger just after one hour after consumption.
