Tastes good, works well

First time I tried it didn't like the taste. Seemed like I was drinking vodka and OJ, but it has grown on me. I'm using it 1-3 x day on a very low carb diet, and even replacing some of my protein foods with it to lower calories even more. I'm losing weight at a great pace, maybe too fast.... Dieting down for a contest.

Pure formula

I take this amino acid blend after my workout (2 scoops) and other servings throughout the day. This is an amino acid blend and not like your usual bottle of whey protein with a 25g scoop. This scoop is much smaller and my dosage is 6 scoops throughout the day. The flavour of apple cider is a bid odd when added into things (like a breakfast smoothie) but drinking it alone with water is good. It is a very fine powder - more fine than whey and egg proteins I've used in the past and mixes easily with my Blender Ball. (I've even just stirred it around in a glass with a knife when I wasn't prepared with my bottle). I've experienced no upset stomach issues with this product and I have gone through 3 bottles already. It's a pure mix, a bit more expensive considering the size of the bottle, but it gives you just what you need and nothing more. I recommend it as lean supplementation.

Like it So Far, But the Packaging Is Suspiciously Wasteful

A friend of mine who had bariatric surgery recommended this product to me. Her doctors recommended it to her after surgery. The taste is interesting, not really bad, not really great. Sort of a sweet, almost gamey, apple cider flavor. I am hoping to use this to help curb some carb cravings. It seems to be working fairly well although I am taking some other vitamin supplements that could be helping with that as well. And plus I like that it is an amino acid supplement that does not have whey in it.What really bothered me when I got the canister and opened it is that it is a fairly big canister and it was less than half full of the powder. At first I thought it was a mistake possibly. Then I realized it is probably a marketing trick to make people think they are getting more. They are trying to make it look like you get more by having a bigger container. This kind of pissed me off actually because it is so incredibly wasteful. They are wasting so much plastic by not using a smaller container. It just seems very ecologically irresponsible as so much more plastic may end up in a landfill than needs to be. This just isn't right in my opinion. Normally, I probably wouldn't notice something like that, but it was pretty shocking to open it up and see so little powder for such a large container. Seems so odd.Also, I found it strange that they do not list the amino acid sources on the container. I had to watch a bunch of Youtube videos to find out it comes from a vegetable source. But they do not say which type of vegetable on the container.When you have things like this about a product it kind of makes you question how honest the company really is and if you are not getting ripped off somehow.I will keep taking it and if I notice anymore changes, I will report back.I sure hope they change the packaging soon because that just isn't right.
