Saved my life (not exaggerating)

I sweat a lot. And I don't eat tons of processed food loaded with sodium and other additives. So I need a good source of electrolytes. This is the most complete one I've been able to find, with the right balance I need as a very active person. I commute by bike, run 3-4 times a week, and lift weights at least once a week. I also go for regular walks and hikes, and play physical games with friends regularly (basketball 3 on 3, frisbee golf, golf (carrying my clubs), those sorts of things). I use at least one a day, more if I had a beer the night before. It's amazing what a difference they have made in how I feel and how much I am able to do.I trained for a half-marathon (raced it in October) this past fall. I did fine, until I got to where my long runs were over 7 miles. Even though I was drinking gatorade and eating enough calories, I would get really lightheaded, feel tired, and pass out. Turns out I was hyponatrimic. Legislation a few years back has had companies reduce the amount of sodium and other electrolytes they put into their processed food products. That's great for people who are having trouble with high blood pressure or might later in life. I have low blood pressure. And I used to be able to get enough electrolytes eating only a few processed foods now and then, but not anymore. I started using gatorlytes, and was able to complete my training. After a couple weeks of using them, I felt great on my runs. I carried a couple with me on my half, to add to the gatorade I was given at aide stations.If you're having the same problem with getting enough electrolytes, also take a look at Celtic sea salt. It's not just NaCl like the rest.

Gatorlytes Work!

I have always been someone who sweats buckets whenever I am exercising, and in my case, it is usually when I am playing volleyball. In recent years, I have developed a cramping problem that is isolated in my calves, but if I continue playing in that phase, my entire body cramps. I have tried everything from coconut water to other supplements, but my body is just unable to retain the electrolytes.
