Strong

My tub of 1.m.r orange flavor came in the mail, I got orange flavor. I tried fruit punch before and it tasted like donkey nut juice. Orange tasted a lot better but still had that fake sugary taste.I took one scoop in almost an empty stomach and about 10 minutes in I began to feel itchy near by abs and the back of my head. I don't feel any super-godly energy like people described. So I was almost disappointed. The day was ending so I decided to just go ahead and workout without the energy effect.Once I started lifting I could feel the effect of 1.m.r. My lifts increased in weights and repetition and felt much stronger than I usually feel when lifting. I took literally 10 seconds of break between sets and continue without any loss in form or strength. It felt as if the supplement made you forget about your body, I literally feel no effect of fatigue at all and after five sets of lat pull I felt as if I haven't even started lifting yet, the only difference is that I felt the pump in my back. It was phenomenal! The energy seemed almost unlimited. I lifted until I almost throw up and had to slow down a bit. It gave me a spectacular workout that I haven't had in a long time.However, I think one scoop is a little too much, I suggest starting with half a scoop on an empty stomach. Also, watch your body as you might over-train yourself with this supplement which is not necessarily a good thing.If you want a high-intensity workout, 1.m.r is your best bet, you just need to be considerate about the amount you're taking.

This truly works!!!

So I'm about to go for 3 weeks on this pre-workout and it is great. The first two weeks I felt pumped and focused with one scoop. After that now I take 1 1/2 scoops because it didn't do with one scoop anymore. But other than that I recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a good pre-workout supplement.

Ridiculous pump, energy, and focus!

This stuff pumps you up hardcore. About 5-10 min after taking it my head gets all tingly, my heart rate increases, and my muscles start to swell up. There is 300mg of caffeine among other ingredients, so be prepared to stay awake for a while after taking this. It's great for hitting the gym hard and lifting heavy. I would not take this for a cardio workout. No side effects other than a little shakiness on an empty stomach.

Great product

I heard about batch5 from a friend of mine who recommended it to me. I never really bothered with taking any kind of supplements before while working out but I decided to give this a shot, and it really makes a difference. It gives me a substantial amount of energy as I work out and I have noticed quite a bit of weight loss as well. If you've never been a supplement person, you should give batch5 a shot. It made a big difference for me and could make a big difference for you as well.

Surprisingly Delicious

I found this product surprisingly delicious. I mixed 1 scoop with soy milk crushed ice and a banana in the blender and drank it every morning for breakfast. ( I would blend all the ingredients and add the scoop of powder last while blender was running)Directions call for 1 to 2 scoops, but I found 1 scoop did the job. It curbed my appetite. Only negative for me was that it ran out too quick. I container lasted about 3 weeks.

Tastes Excellent!!

My husband started the "Liver Cleansing" diet and this was recommended in her book. He has tried several powders before, most of them tasting like chalk. He was hesitant to try this powder, but once he did, he loves it!! It really fills you up, and tastes good. If you want a special treat, blend with a banana. I bought some for my family as a present, and they love it too. A little bit goes a long way, so start with 1 scoop of powder first, and then move up to two. I highly recommend this product!!

the vanilla is ok, but I love chocolate and I could NOT find this product in ANYTHING but vanilla. It definitely tastes ok for vanilla, but chocolate is ALWAYS better!

Nothing like the other redline drinks...

I have used the Redline 8 oz bottle as well as the Redline Concentrate and loved both of those. I was excited when saw these thinking they would be the same as those! I work a lot and odd hours. I have brought these with me on overnights and was disappointing to find they did nothing to keep me awake! I even went as far as drinking a whole bottle which is 2 servings. I was lucky I keep redbull in my lunch bag as well. Over all not impressed. Save your $$ and get the 8oz drinks of concentrate as they actually work!!

Best energry drink. EVER!

This energy drink is the best I've tried, and I've tried many. It tastes terrific -- no *blechh* taste at all. It works great at energizing without jitters. I have a b-u-s-y household, and I NEED this to keep up [I'm in my mid 40s and get wiped out easier these days...]. VPX Redline Power Rush is perfect. I look forward to taking it every morning! Love that it has amino acids & other useful-to-my-body things -- not just a caffeine rush. There is a good, natural energy I get from it, with NO crash. I've used it for over 2 years, and recommend it highly.

The ONLY one that works!!!!

Awesome energy drink!! It's the ONLY one out there that works for me....and I've truly tried them ALL!!! For the novice, I'd suggest you take half the bottle (as per the instuctions). I take the whole bottle in one shot and it lasts me the whole night. No jitters, pleasant taste!!

Ultimate Nutrition, I'm impressed with how well your product works but I gag on its sickly sweet taste. Please give your otherwise great product an adult, natural taste. Health conscious body builders don't want products that taste sickly sweet like children's cough syrup.

Best Taste

I am biased and a user of Muscle Pharm products. I have used other flavors of Assault. First I should say that I like this product in general as it will make you more focused during your workouts and it will help you with your lifting (a lot). My purpose of this review is to say that is the best tasting flavor I have had (I have had Blue Raspberry and Green Apple) it doesn't have a chalky taste. It's not like some supplements that you feel like you have to choke down.

I use this product when I'm doing hard cardio/strength training 4-5 days a week. As a trainer I always have to be looking out for products that will work for people with ANY condition. This is a product I highly recommend!

i have taken jack , and no-explode 2(1 was not bad ) but seem to put on weight yours is the only 1 i can take with my low carb diet i dropped 14 lbs in a month , my pump is crzy and the other day i did 20 sets of a 11 on the pull up bar at a weight of 275

Met RX Protein & Oats - AMAZING TASTE

I had a free sample of this protein from my gym and feel in love with the taste enough to buy the full size product. It has a cinnamon tase and a good consistency for mixing. I typically use a banana, ice and milk in a blender to give it a more milkshake like consistency. The calorie count is not that high considering how flavorful it really is.I would give it 5 stars if it were not for the odd requirement that you refridgerate the protein after its opened. I have never had any other protein powders with that type of instruction but otherwise its an excellent product, and priced low on Amazon.UPDATED: 5 STARS - Since it no longer needs to be refridgerated I increased it one star (now if only it was less expensive).

A decent protein powder if you can get over the oat clumps

For the last several years, I've been using Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey and BSN Syntha-6 protein powders. I like the ON for the lower carbs, and the Syntha-6 for the taste. I decided to try the MET-RX when I was offered a free sample from Amazon. The first thing I noticed about it, is that it only takes up half of the standard 2lb container. By comparison, my Syntha-6 of the same container size, comes up to the top. This leads me to believe that the powder is not nearly as thick as some of the ones I've had in the past. I also saw that there were several oat flakes in the powder. I don't know if these are the only source of oats, but if they are, then they are not significant enough to have any nutritional effect, and are likely just for flavor, which I am okay with. When I actually mixed the powder with water, all of the heavier oat flakes sunk to the bottom and I could see them collecting at the bottom of my shaker bottle. I thought the shake would taste pretty bad because of that. Upon first taste, it wasn't as displeasing as I thought. I could definitely taste and feel the flakes while drinking it, but it wasn't an issue and even though I don't really like oats, the flavor works well with the chocolate. However the last few sips, I was basically drinking clumps of oats and struggling to get it down. Once I was done, I was left with a lot of oats stuck to the sides and bottom of my shaker bottle.As far as the actual protein and nutritional content, I really like that it only has 1g of sugar, and this is enough of a selling point to me to use it despite the weird taste. I've found you can overcome the problem of the oats clumping by either using a blender (which works a little bit), or just using a thickening agent like milk instead of water, and/or adding additional ingredients like a banana.

GREAT MEAL REPLACEMENT IF YOUR WORKING OUT OR NOT. THE PRODUCT TASTES GREAT AND IS EASY TO MIX I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYBODY WHO IS LOOKING TO CURB THAT APPETITE WHILE WORKING OUT AND GETTING THROUGH A BUSY DAY OR ON A OFF DAY WHILE WORKING OUT. I ACTUALLY WISH THERE WAS MORE IN THE TUB BUT OF COURSE IM TRAINING SO I GO THROUGH MORE OF IT FASTER THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON WORTH TRYING IT OUT THOUGH IF YOUR CONSIDERING .

I really love this protein source as it is unflavored and can be added to most anything. It is great for those people following bariatric surgery who need to beef up their protein levels. I highly recommend it.

Great product!

This is an excellent basic protien powder. It disolves easily and is almost tasteless. I add it to Instant Breakfast to add protien. I have added it to Crystal Light to get a very low cal protien boost. There is some texture change to the drink, but little taste change. Very easy to use.

Excellent Product

This has been really helpful for maintaining protein levels after my surgery. It really mixes well with sweet or savory foods. The only issue is that you can't get it too hot; if you want to add it to soup, you've got to let it cool a bit first.
