Good product

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Phil I am 20 years old, 6 ft 1 and I weight about 188lbs with 11% body fat. I work out on a 5 day split: shoulders, arms, chest, back, legs. I have used monster mass for a little more than 2 weeks.After months of stagnating at roughly the same strength/muscle level I decided I wanted to get serious and gain more weight and power. I set a goal of 200-210 lbs with the same or less body fat % and can safely say that monster mass is helping me along my way. Although I was familiar with whey protein, I had never used a gainer shake before. Every week each of my muscle groups are tangibly stronger than the week before. My rep counts climb and I add weight to my lifts frequently. I usually drink one of these post workout, and sometimes drink one in the morning.The taste is, as the label indicates, extremely rich and satisfying (I have chocolate). It dissolves easily with water in my blender bottle but not so easily with milk. Drinking it with milk can also leave you bloated and heavy, but with water it goes through your system easily and does not fill you very much.My primary complaint with the product is the fat and cholesterol levels. One shake with water packs in about a third of your daily fat intake with about half of your saturated fat intake. In addition each has more than 40% of daily cholesterol. Although I have successfully managed to prevent fat gain by getting 45min - 1hour of cardio a day, if I didn't have time for lots of walking and running I can see this product increasing my waist size. I also do my best to eat healthy organic foods: chicken breast, potatoes, bananas, peanut butter, greek yogurt, etc.Overall, I am happy with the product and will finish my 6lb tub. But for my next gainer, I will probably look for a lower fat, lower cholesterol product. Masstech gainer look pretty good in comparison. I just don't see why there needs to be this much fat and cholesterol in the shake (can someone tell me). The carb and protein levels are satisfactory.

Weight Gain that Works

This is an excellent product! I've struggled for years to gain weight. I'm not a body builder, and don't want to look like one. My weight has always been very low and after several weight related health scares I finally found Monster Mass. I've tried many weight gainers in the past with mixed results. Either I gained weight and borked my digestion or I could digest it easily and gained only four pounds in one year! Monster Mass seems to have found the happy middle ground. It mixes well in a blender, though it does settle if stored for more than an hour, so drink up or shake it again. The flavor is one of the best I've found. The nutrient load is a good blend. It doesn't have too much B vitamins to give you energy. Just enough to use what you're eating and drinking through out the day. Everything you need to actually use the protein in the shake is there, as well as the fats (yes, you really do need fat, trust me). A suggested serving is four scoops in 8 to 12 ounces of water. That's a bit thick for my taste. For that matter, four scoops upset my stomach a bit. However, three scoops in 16 ounces is a lot like chocolate milk. I take it twice (1.5 times the suggested serving) and noticed results in just one month. That's totally unheard of for me! A previous combination of one serving Cyto-Gainer and one serving Muscle Milk barely maintained my weight. With Monster Mass I was putting on muscle AND replenishing my fat stores noticeably in a couple of weeks.It's worth every penny, and I won't be without it ever again.

Works great to put on Mass

I must say I purchased this a few months ago and have used a variety of mass gainer shakes before it but none have been as effective as this. I did not pack on 10 pounds a week with this but using it once a day, everyday, I am able to put on about .5 to 1 pounds of muscle a week when combined with regular exercise. I am a hard gainer and so putting on weight is not easy. This is a clean shake that tastes good has a good complex and works well. I recommend it over all the other shakes out there for gaining weight.
