Awesome combo of amino acids

This is a great combination of amino acids for pre/intra/post workout drinks. It's not a stimulant or energy booster like most pre-workouts, it serves a different purpose. It's pretty much a BCAA supplement with a few bonuses. Here's what's in a serving:L-Leucine: 4 gramsL-Valine: 2 gramsL-Isoleucine: 2 gramsL-Glutamine: 2 gramsCitrulline Malate: 1 gramL-Taurine: 500 milligrams (.5 grams)Vitamin B-6: 10 milligrams (500% RDA for a 2,000 calorie diet)The first three are your branched chain amino acids's (BCAA's), in the 2:1:1 ratio that's said to be the best ratio, the glutamine is good for your immune system and the most abundant amino acid in your body, the citulline malate is good at promoting high NO levels, blood flow and nutrient delivery (similar to AAKG), and the taurine works for cell volumization. Vitamin B-6 is added for aiding amino acid metabolism.So, in one serving, you get 8 grams of BCAA's (a generous serving) and three other amino acids helpful to muscle building and B6. For all that, you can't beat the price, and it's also a good, unique combination of amino acids. I got 90 servings for $45 using subscribe and save, so $0.50 for a serving of 8 grams of BCAA's PLUS the other amino acids and B6 is pretty good.There's also very few fillers in it. A serving is 13 grams, and there are 11.5 grams of amino acids in that serving, working out to 88% supplements in this bottle. I mix two servings into a single 16 ounce bottle, then I drink half the bottle on the way to the gym and the second half as soon as I'm out of the gym.It tastes alright, nothing to write home about, but for the concentration of amino acids per serving, it's pretty good (I use the "lectric lemon lime" flavor. Edit: I've had the grape since I wrote this, it's about as good as the lemon lime.). The BCAA's float if you shake it hard, so you gotta shake it hard then shake it lightly and roll it around a bit to get the BCAA's to mix in.If you're not a fan of artificial sweeteners, be aware that it does contain two: sucralose and acesulfame-K.

Very effective :0)

This has helped me with multiple issues concerning fatigue as well as poor insulin sensitivity. I will however tell you that the Groovey Grape is just plain disgusting in my opinion.... It tastes like koolaide with crushed up aspirins in it! That was w/ me just mixing it with 8oz of water. So I switched to mixing it in a vanilla protein shake & that made it tolerable. I however will not be getting grape again & am going to try the lemon lime next. Universals products have basically saved my life & sanity as I have been dealing with a digestive disease for 23yrs. So that means as time has gone on I started having even more difficupty absorbing nutrients. I was taking liquid vitamins & supplements & they still didnt compare in quality effectiveness that their line has! I now have energy again & feel like I can actually start training again very soon! So to that I say Thank you Universal & God Bless! I've done alot of praying & God talked to me about my body & what Im putting in it. Isaiah said when he prophesied about Jesus coming that "He took our infermaties & diseases". All this is true, but you still have to put quality food sources in your body or it will break down before you do.

WATERMELON!

This is a post workout drink, it has BCAA's and will help your muscles with recovery after a hard workout. The buzz word about a lot of these post work out supplements is how they taste like a Jolly Rancher. I think that's what a lot of the companies are going for. I haven't had a Watermelon J.R. in eons, but I believe I remember what they taste like, and this is close. There's an unmistakable Watermelon flavor, but it's a bit too candy like for me. I'm a huge fan of Dole's Watermelon Sensation drink. But that has a crap load of sugar and no BCAA's so it wouldn't help me out post workout at all. The Dole, to me any ways tastes like a fresh real Watermelon, I'm not as big of a fan of the candy taste here, but it's still pretty damn good. The container says mix with 8-10oz of water, I use more and it's still very drinkable. I put 2 scoops in my 28oz Sportmixer Blender Bottle and am good to go. If you like it strong use less water, I find it pretty refreshing even with only 10oz of water, but it's just a bit too strong for my tastes. This tastes more like a Watermelon drank than Watermelon juice, but as the awesome Dave Chapelle said "juice? what the ****'s juice? I want some DRANK!" I think Dave would approve of Universal's Atomic 7 Way Out Watermelon. Yes, it's not purple (grape for those in the dark) but Watermelon is the next best thing to grape right? Hell, I think I'd take a good Watermelon drank over a Grape one, but I dunno.Now if you don't work out, but like Watermelon and want a drink without sugar, which this has none. This would be a good choice, only down side is using it as a straight drink would be pretty damn expensive. It has no sugar so that means no carbs which means no calories.
