Great taste! Chocolate

The container, although HUGE is only filled half way when you receive it brand new.The taste is great, best "protein" shake I've tried, however unlike most protein shakes I do feel hungry still after finishing it, usually shakes can carry me for a few hours but with this particular one I have it in the morning but then still have a light breakfast, and am usually really hungry for lunch by noon.

cheap alternative

I have bounce around for years on all kinds of proteins. Isolates, mixed, hydrolyzed whey, soy. I have given up, the fight. I need a lot of protein and im tried of emptying my wallet for it. So 5 lbs of this and 3 lbs of casein do the trick. An in my opinion on the chocolate, it taste better than ON and Dymatize Nutrition.

Does the trick better than most

I'm not big into weight training but I like to life a few days a week just to maintain. I usually don't get enough protein throughout the day so I like to follow up my workouts with three scoops of this stuff. The taste is pretty rough at first but I grew to like it by the third or fourth time.The main thing I like about this powder is that it has a pretty high protein to fat/cholesterol ratio. Some of the products from Muscle Milk or other brands may offer more protein per serving, but they also have loads of fat, calories, and cholesterol too. Of course, these are geared more towards gaining weight or maintaining the body of someone with lots of muscle mass, so whatever. I find this is a good product for me as a somewhat casual lifter. Definitely go with chocolate over the vanilla too. The vanilla tastes and smells like mildew.
