Great taste, good healing, terrible digestion

I've been though just about every product line, and i had just circled around to finally trying some Gaspari.TASTE:Taste is fantastic, anyone who thinks this tastes bad for a protein shake must be seriously challenged or have unrealistic expectations. Taste isn't the reason why we drink protein beverages anyway so the taste could be seen as a tremendous bonus. It could honestly be sold as a dessert beverage, it sort of reminds me of those easter egg chocolate candies that are rapped in tin foil. Amazing. Best tasting protein beverage i've had, even better than optimum nutrition.POST-WORKOUT/HEALING USE:Seems to do the job. Not any quicker or more exceptional than other cheaper products I've used. I use it both as a breakfast and a pre/post workout shake. Put on a little bit of lean mass since i started on the 5lb bottle about 2 weeks ago.DIGESTION:Here's where the rubber meets the pavement. This stuff does NOT digest well. I was on vacation most of the last week in Lake Chelan, and almost the entire time i had serious stomach issues. i brought my protein shake along and took it all but one day. I kept thinking it was a stomach virus or something that I had cought, but after it continued for about 8 days straight, I knew this couldn't be a virus. Every day after every meal i had the runs, this stuff takes a long time to digest and gives you a feeling that you got round house kicked in the stomach and lower back by bruce lee. i didn't feel sick in any other way and I NEVER get sick, so this was odd. I eventually reasoned that it might be because of this protein shake i was taking daily, so i cut it out for a day and a half. Problems gone. No more stomach issues.SOLUTION: It's a real bummer this stuff doesn't digest well, because it tasted amazing, did its job, and was relatively well priced for what you got. I forgot how miserable it can be to constantly be constipated and have the runs, not a good experience at all. I just got home from vacation and tried giving this stuff another chance and the stomach issues are back. I'd like to point out that i dont have a weak stomach either, this honestly hasn't happened to me in well over a few years.Now I know why they name it "Gas"pari.Plus, the probiotic nonsense made no difference. Patent this, patent that, blah blah blah. I think its just marketing hype to try and set it apart as a superior product when its not.I dont think its healthy to constantly be taking probiotics all the time anyway, theres a reason why doctors lean you off the stuff after you take it to get rid of viral infections. Its not supposed to be an every day thing because it reduces white blood cells and your bodies natural ability to fight off infections.So....TASTE: 5WORKOUT PURPOSE: 4DIGESTION: 1Overall: 3

Original was much better (my opinion)

I was taking the original Myofusion and it seemed like quality. tasted great for a protein shake and I saw some decent gains. Now after they reformulated this and made it into what it is now, I think its garbage. You get less protein per serving and they added brown rice protein? for what? my guess its cheaper. The probiotics sent me straight to the bathroom. I don't think they intended to do that but that's all it did. I also noticed recovery time was not as fast. Soreness lasted longer than it did with the original. Should have just left it alone. Switched to Optimums 100% Gold standard whey and it seems like much higher quality. Gaspari trying to cut corners now losing a consumer.

Best tasting protein I have ever had!

Great product and it tastes like heaven. I believe this to be a blend so it could be used as a meal replacement. It is really thick and I would recommend using more water than it directs. I gave it 4 stars because it gave me horrible gas and always made me want to poop. I know it is a pro biotic, but I wasn't expecting this much gas. Other than that, great product. It fills me up in between meals for a long period and I look forward to drinking it.
