Tastes Really Good

I was looking for a recovery/after workout drink to replace the P90X Results and Recovery Formula because it was expensive and lacked enough protein. I thought I'd try this one out as it had the nice ratio of carbs to protein (2:1), and because it was $15 cheaper than the P90X stuff. Overall I like this formula. It tastes really nice just mixed with 7-8 ounces of water, so I don't need milk or other berries to blend into it in order to make it taste better. Once I run out, I will be buying it again (provided that the price stays low and it stays in Amazon Prime).

I like this stuff

I usually drink a glass of this in the morning and another after a workout. I like it. It seems to help with the recovery and I would recommend it to anyone who is already taking workout supplements. Flavor could be better, but not too bad.

I must say that I think this stuff is delicious. And i'm no stranger to supplements. I have the unfortunate problem of having a general distaste for vanilla or chocolate flavored things, so the raspberry flavor is refreshing. This stuff tastes so good I often find myself craving it. It mixes well and does a neat color changing trick as the powder is white but turns pink as soon as you add the water. I have found that using room temp water makes the mixing process a little easier. As for the actual function of this stuff, I can also say I am pleased. It helps to avoid the crash I feel about an hour after working out, and it seems to help with soreness although it is hard to tell if it really does or not. I know that I feel better going into my next day's workout if I have had this stuff the day before. I would for sure recommend this to anyone who wants a recovery formula, even cardio junkies. I've been through almost 3 tubs so far and I've got them coming monthly, wouldn't think of skipping it. The only thing I would say against it is that once it is mixed it will go bad pretty quickly at room temp which is frustrating if you are trying to drink it over 30-45 minutes, and I for sure wouldn't mix it before your workout.In a nutshell: It's delicious, it works, it's from a trusted brand, it's based on the latest studies, it's a good value.
