Pure stuff

I've used the stuff for a month now, best to take on empty stomach. I use it in the morning and night. I noticed a little breaking out, hornier, and more strength. Definitely a difference, how much hard to say.

You get what you give.

I really like this protein, it mixes very well and has a light consistency that isn't too light, but isn't thick either. It's just perfect and it tastes pretty good as well. For such a light consistency it does so much for the body in that recovery state. I've been using it for a year now and I still love it.

Tastes like Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream

Really GNC only makes 2 decent flavors (vanilla and chocolate). It tastes great and I actually look forward to it as my end of workout treat. As far as the effects of using it. I've had workouts where I worked myself out to exhaustion and then couldn't move the next day because I was so sore. I've done those same workouts and then drank the Extreme 60 and I still feel sore, but its only a minor soreness and not a horrible "I can't get out of bed soreness."

Came on time, had to go pick it up however because sender required signature. There should be something that tells you this, I would have had it sent to my work so I wouldnt have to make a special trip to the UPS store

The best on the market

I've been going back to this for about five years. I always try new products to change it up but none of them impress me half of them give you uncontrolled jitters and nauseousness so I always go back to supercharged. And the taste is addicting. The workout with the N.O. Is amazing I even use it for the days that I mostly run to get more motivated.

A good product if you think you have reached a plateau

I'm a college student in my early twenties, and before using this product I found it incredibly hard to gain more muscle mass. I am about six feet in height, and weighed around 160 before I started using the product.After purchasing the creatine based on recommendation from a friend, I immediately felt energized in my workouts, and was able to jump weights a lot faster than I had previously over the course of a few months. Before, I would get tired too quickly, and be stuck at the same number of reps at the same weight amount. Since I started using this product, I've gained about twenty pounds in muscle, and people have mentioned that it is very noticeable. Despite claims that this product doesn't give you energy, I've found myself with a lot more energy throughout the day too.Before using this product, I would take protein shakes, but they didn't have nearly as wonderful of an effect as the creatine. Go figure.Not only that, but the drinks taste great! I often look forward to a nice refreshing glass of fruit punch after my workout, but drinking lots of water with it is imperative. There have been times when I didn't drink enough water and I felt like passing out.I would personally highly recommend this product, especially if you have hit a plateau and seem too tired to continue your workouts.

Chemistry Experiment

I am a skinny marathon runner, and I don't gain muscle mass easily. An injury curtailed my running, so I decided to rework my fitness regimen to focus on weightlifting. I bought CellTech at the recommendation of a friend and tried it for 8 weeks, following the directions exactly.The first thing I noticed was the foul taste of the CellTech. I choked down the Grape flavor twice a day for 5 days (the "loading" phase), and then switched to a once-daily serving of the Fruit Punch flavor, which is more palatable. It still has a sickly sweet chemical flavor, a somewhat gritty texture, and a strong vile aftertaste. Twice I drank the CellTech too quickly and vomited it up.I lifted three times a week, with an upper/lower body split. A typical workout was 5 exercises: 5 sets each of 2 compound exercises, and 3 sets each of 3 isolation exercises. The last set of each exercise was done to failure. I also consumed 30 grams of whey protein drink twice per day.I am mostly pleased with the results. I noticed I was recovering faster between workouts than I expected. I had greater stamina, and my muscles felt "pumped up" during each workout. I increased my 10-rep bench press weight 40 pounds, and my 10-rep squat weight by 55 pounds. I gained about 10 pounds, and most of it appears to be muscle. My body looks more muscular, and others have commented on it. I also gained a small amount of body fat. I believe this is because CellTech contains as much pure sugar as 2 cans of Coke.I experienced constipation and dehydration from this product, as well as occasional nausea, despite drinking a gallon of water per day.It does have a measurable effect on bodybuilding performance. However, I think only dedicated bodybuilders and well-disciplined dabblers will be able to stick with the recommended 8-week usage pattern. You may be able to get a lot of the same benefits with a much less expensive and tasteless creatine powder.

excellent recovery drink

MuscleTech Cell Tech is a good/best recovery drink. The muscles become nutritionally deficient after many years of exercise. I have been playing soccer for over 14 years and had developed chronic hamstring problems, until I experimented with this supplement. I have experimented with other supplements, different creatine blends and therapies to address chronic hamstring problems to no effect. I have found that MuscleTech is the ultimate treatment for my hamstrings.

Great Carb source

Great carb source. I like the energy it gave me to push through my high intensity workouts. People should stop being scared of carbs, they are not evil but are very essential. I've lost 2% body fat in 4 weeks on a cut, a slow moderate cut cycle and I consume around 200 grams of carbs a day. Consider the sources, complex carbs are your friend.

great line of products

i'm not vegan or vegetarian, but i like this brand of products a lot.i bought this because i am low on packets of the 'pre-workout energizer' - since i bought those, the company has updated the packaging, so this 'performance optimizer' is the same product.i like this because it does help me sustain my workouts, seems to give me a lift when i take it, but i don't get that jittery, scattered feeling that caffeinated products give me. i feel good about taking it because it's healthy and plant-based as well.the powder mixes easily with water - i put it in a wide-mouth water bottle and shake it - and i don't find clumping at all. the liquid is kind of a odd greenish color, but not off-putting and tastes fine. it's not exactly "dissolving" so i generally rinse the bottle out with a bit of water and drink that too.

Pricy, but works well and tastes great

I'm new to bodybuilding, and realized I wasn't making a lot of progress without post-workout nutrients. My local GNC store recommended this, and so far, I'm impressed. A little pricy, although if you compare it to an equivalent size serving of Starbucks coffee, it's a bargain! LOL Love the Bazooka Fruit flavor though, it tastes great! It dissolves well, and isn't gritty. Even after the first post-workout shake I noticed a difference, I felt like I had energy restored. The next day, I didn't have any tightness or soreness like I had before. I can't say I have anything else to compare it to, but I'm happy with this, despite $68 for about 32 servings.

You Get What You Pay For

It is as if a necromancer raises me from the dead. Now, instead of feeling fatigued, I feel energetic and significantly less sore. My old post-workout cocktail had similar components to AfterGlow (Glutamine, Whey Isolate, BCAA compound) but lacked the same refinement, mixture, and quality.Afterglow is more expensive ($2/serving) than any other supplement I take:NOW Foods' Unflavored Whey Isolate Protein - mix this with AfterGlow post-workout for increased protein intakeBioRhythm's Whole Gains - meal supplement throughout the work dayGaspari Nutrition's IntraPro - take an hour after AfterGlow if I can't eat properlyDymatize's Elite Gourmet - morning and evening shake (slow digesting protein helps with metabolism)AfterGlow is the best supplement I have ever taken. It is a serious product for people who take exercise seriously. If that's not you, then save your money and just use a more basic Whey Isolate for post-workout. But if you're serious, you'll appreciate Glowing from serving #1.FLAVORS: Watermelon, Bazooka Fruit, and Orange. I enjoy the Watermelon and Orange most. But I like them all. Take it with at least 16 oz. of water (like any post-workout supplement). The more water you take in, the better you digest and absorb nutrients.

Tastes great and provides essential nutrients for post work out. The price is a little steep, but is worth the money.
