Product Description
Taurine is a non-essential sulfur-containing amino acid that works together with glycine and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) functioning as a neuroinhibitory transmitter. Taurine is also plays a an important role in muscle maintenance and increased nitric oxide production, which in turn causes an increase in oxygenated blood flow to the muscles.
Taking up to 3,000 milligrams of taurine daily is considered safe. Excess taurine is excreted by the kidneys.
Taurine dissolves quickly in water. Simply mix with water or juice and drink. Take 1000 mg three times a day with water or your favorite beverage on an empty stomach. If you experience stomach irritation, take with meals.

Amazing stuff for the heart and brain!

I am hooked on Taurine!I was having heart rhythm and palpitation problems until I took magnesium-taurate and decided I needed taurine in my body-wow! I am sleeping like a baby without a beating heart keeping me up. I take many things for my heart and this is FANTASTIC STUFF with a calming effect that has even gotten rid of some anxiety that I had before taking this taurine powder.Also, my dog was showing signs of diabetes and heart-failure with symptoms of dizziness which was causing him to fall and injure himself, drinking water until he would throw it up, barely walking since breathing was so difficult,etc........He just seemed like he could have a heart-attack any time with that DIFFICULT breathing that he had been experiencing, and he would just look at me with eyes wanting me to do something. Well, he's been getting 4 grms of taurine daily for the past 4 days and all his symptoms are gone! Sparky is 14, and I think he'll live past 20 years due to this taurine powder. I highly reccomend that you put some in your dog's or cat's water besides taking it yourself. 1/4 teaspoon of this powder is 1,000mg of taurine.Note:I think it has lowered my blood pressure too so be careful with taurine if you have low blood pressure or you could do like me which is drink 3 cups of coffee daily...............I can drink 3, 8oz, cups of coffee within 20 minutes and have no racing heart-beat which tells you how calming this is and why it is in those energy drinks!

This cost about 1/2 as much as the Taurine powder I bought for our raw diet for our cats. Thanks for making this available in such a large quantity for us breeders. IT is necessary for the cats healthy heart!

Best Bang For your Buck!

It took my back pumps right away. I dare you to find a Taurine product of this quality and quantity thats even near the same price. At 3000mg a day, the 2.2lbs that I bought is going to last me a long long time. The shipping was also lightning fast and free. Can't beat that...
