My Hydration - Energy answer

For years I rode my bicycle drinking just water. I didn't realize the reason that it was difficult to finish my rides was because I was not hydrating properly and losing valuable electrolytes. Since I started using the Clif Shot Electrolyte powder my rides are a breeze and I stay energized and hydrated. I like the larger containers over the packages because I can mix my drink to my preferred taste, but it is nice to carry individual packages when on a long ride so I can refill. I also like that it is 97% organic and vegan.

VERY effective electrolyte and energy drink

I am a competitive rower and started using this Clif Shot Electrolyte on the recommendation of a professional cyclist friend. His team is sponsored by Clif so he first gave me jug of this as a gift to try.Tastewise it's good. Effective wise it's F***ing GREAT! I didn't realize just how effective this product is until I ran out recently and went a week without imbibing the Clif Shot before rowing in the morning. The lack of this had a significant effect on my performance; and I'm not talking just a little - it was noticeable, profound, and obvious.I will row at least an hour or more each day and my shirt feels like it just came out of the ocean when I'm done - so I'm losing electrolytes and fluids and this product puts them both back, or as is my case, in before losing them.I use this before rowing and then use Hammer Nutrition's Recoverite (*Citrus flavor) post rowing and that is a great 1-2 punch for before and after intense efforts.I'm definitely sold on Clif products; they are the real deal and it's not a bunch of marketing. I'm the hardest person in the world to convince about the benefits of stuff like this so I approached both skeptically, but now endorse both products as very much the real thing and highly beneficial for me. I'm in my late 50s and I'll take all the help nutritionally that I can get, and Clif is a great help.

Great product!

I use this drink mix for my long distance runs. It has a good flavor. It is a little too sweet for me so I use less of what the directions specify. But it's great!
