2nd surge

Love this stuff! I use 2nd surge for my marathon training. It has a syrup consistency and is easy to get down while on long runs or races. Plus it has a great flavor, i like the chocolate.

Ultramarathon fuel

Saw this in a store day before my 50k, so I bought one to try. Amazing. I used it before the last 6 miles. I like how it removed the mental negativity that signals "BONK" for me. Best gel I have ever used. Other gels, even with some caffeine, never felt like much -- never seemed to make a real difference. This made a massive difference.ONE WARNING: The double espresso tasted like a double espresso -- only slightly less bitter/burnt. I like that, so that is the flavor I will always get, but if you want yummy this aint it. Not candy or dessert tasting.If you want something tasty and candy or desert-like, get the CHOCOLATE!I also LOVED how easy it was to open and use - without having to mess with it much or even look at it at all like other gels (other gels are harder to open, and thicker like toothpaste tubes and have to be rolled up as you slowly suck it out). This was super easy to use and easy to swallow in one shot -- a big deal when you are about to bonk running across roots and rocks in a forest. It is also thinner, easier to carry. My new gel. I just ordered 2 cases.

For me it's the best tasting energy gel

When I started doing endurance runs, it was suggested that I try as many energy gels out there with or without caffeine, as gels, block, or beans etc. So far this has been my favorite. It doesn't upset my stomach and it is great tasting.
