Use cold water and plug your nose

Pros:- Keeps you satisfied for a _long_ time, easily 4-6 hours for both my partner and I. A true meal replacement.- Stats are through the roof. I've never seen anything like it.- Vegan-friendly, gluten-free.- 2-minute meal.Cons:- Tastes awful.- Reflex-inducing texture.Tips to address the taste/texture:- As with many things, plug your nose, then chug. Takes away 80% of the bite.- Mix it with _very_ cold water, e.g., water sitting in the fridge overnight. It goes down much, much easier.- Dilute with more water if it is still too strong/thick for your taste. Treat the labeled amount of water as merely a recommendation.- Do _not_ let it sit. It will expand. Add to water, mix, and drink immediately. It takes only a few minutes for it to thicken considerably. You'll then have to add more water to make it palatable again, but you may end up with more liquid than you can drink in a sitting.Good luck!

Good for emergency kits too!

It doesnt have the best taste, but we are putting it in our emergency kits. I would rather have raw organic nutrients then processed crap in an emergency. I would rather stay in health then be susceptible to illness and disease due to lack of nutrients in some of the other processed foods out there. I also have small kids who need those things to grow properly...you wont find that in a bag of cheetos or daltrex bars.

Much better than I expected

I'm not a person who normally buys this sort of product or even someone who eats all that healthy in general. But I told myself that if I stumbled across a "meal replacement" that had "everything" -- probiotics, superfoods, vitamins, etc. in it I'd give it a try. This RAW Meal from Garden of Life fits the bill better than anything else, so I order some. I really expected it to have the most foul taste ever... it certainly looks like green goop (it does congeal pretty quick). I expected to have to choke it down, then gag, and curse myself for having 9 more packets to try. Happily, the taste really isn't that bad. To me, it's sort of a mild chalky flavor with something, again mild, that's grass like. It's not offensive in the least. I could easily see myself making this a common breakfast item.
