Good Protein

I bought this protein as it has a good price point. I have gained weight since starting to take it, about 10lbs in 4 weeks. I would give it 5 stars but for 2 problems, the flavor isn't very strong, and it makes me fart and bloats my stomach like no other. I should also say that I only use 2 scoops at a time, not the 3 3/4 that is recommended so that could be why the flavor isn't a strong as I would expect, that being said, I can only imagine how much more I would be farting if I did use the 3 3/4 suggested.

Great quality weight gainer on the budget

I used to use Optimum Pro Complex Gainer before Optimum decided to cancel Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. After a little research, I decided to try Universal Real Gains with the chocolate ice cream flavor and I was very impressed with it. I think it tastes lighter than Optimum, but the mixability is superior than Optimum. Comparing to Optimum, it has less ingredients and less vitamins. However, I drink multivitamin everyday so it's fine by me. I had great results with this product, I gained 5 lbs in three weeks with this stuff. Protein content is, I think, the same as Optimum and the same goes with the calories. It has inulin for better absorption and whey-micellar casein which is a high quality protein. I just tried the Cookies and Cream flavor and it was pretty good, it even has little chocolate cookies in the powder! I still prefer chocolate though. All in all, this is a great gainer I would recommend to anyone who is trying to gain muscle mass.

Good Product

The price for this mass gainer was good. I was working out hard over a few months and needed to make sure I got enough calories. I did and gained an excellent amount of weight and gotta start cutting. This product got me those calories and tasted good.
